Finally released

So I finally managed to release Escape from the Jungle. It was my second project done in Unity (the first one was Furious Frigg), mostly for the purpose of learning game development in C# and trying out different game development flows. Initial plan was to release before Christmas 2020, and it somehow worked out.

It has been quite a ride. The complete game design idea came from by brother, who also made all the graphics in the game. The plan was to have player inventory, crafting items, interactions with NPCs, animated sequences... We also wanted to have dynamic ropes the player could use, which also meant some level of physics based player control. I thought that will be the biggest learning curve...

It was not :). The biggest takeaway was the various potential player use cases and potential scenarios that can occur during gameplay. Really spent the last couple of weeks before release with quite a lot of play testing. Maybe in future, this concept will be transformed into a bigger and better game.

Looking forward to critical feedback...
